Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to learn”

Spring vacation is the week of: April 18

If your kids drop right off to sleep this evening it is because they swam so hard this morning. Their reward for being: Safe, Responsible, Respectful and Ready to Learn. They had collected 2,680 beads!!!

Don’t forget the talent show at the Townshend Town Hall this Saturday night at 6:00. There is a free community meal at six.   The meals are done by volunteers. Bring nothing or an appetizer or dessert.  The Talent show will be upstairs at 7:00. Sally and several students will be playing ukuleles.

This summer the Windham Summer Camp at the Meeting house will be the weeks of July 11 and July 18. Children three and up are welcome.

We have been invited to attend the Journey East performance at Wardsboro School on Tuesday, May 10th at 12:20.  We have accepted the offer. We would like to leave at noon and need a couple of parents to drive. Please let us know if you can volunteer.

Puppet show!!!

The primary class is working on a puppet show that will be very entertaining and informing. It is about farming and the importance of pollinators, those tiny creatures who pollinate flowers so plants can produce fruit and seeds. There will be two performances, Thursday, May 12th at 7PM and Saturday, May 14th at 4PM.

Ukulele:    Beginning the first week in May we will be doing ukulele lessons on Thursdays only, from 3-3:30.

Walking and Running Club:      Walking and Running will start on Tuesday May 3rd and be every Tuesday afternoon from three to four PM.

Our Spring concert is Monday, June 6 at 6:30. So far now the last day of school is June 7.
