Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to learn”

Don't forget to put your clocks ahead by one hour this Saturday before you go to bed. Hopefully this will be the magic wand that brings spring to us.

On Thursday, March 20, Sally and Mr. PJ's class are going to Brattleboro to the Latchis Theatre for the “2014 Windham Orchestra's Meet the Orchestra” concert.

On the same day (March 20), Mrs. Kehoe will be taking her class to the Grafton Nature Museum monthly program. The one in March is a traditional Vermont activity. They will be tapping a tree and going to a local sugar house.

Be aware: That same day (March 20th) is a half day. School will be over at noon.

Sally's cross country skiers stayed at school this week instead of going to Grafton Ponds. They snowshoed out back and down toward the beaver pond. Their afternoon excursion fell right in with their study of winter animals and tracks. They found fox tracks and such a large amount of rabbit tracks the kids said it looked like a rabbit playground.

Thanks goes to the Windham Community Organization for the three new Samsung Chrome book's for our school. They will be put to good use. There are enough now so it is possible for the entire class to be using the chrome books at the same time. Khan Academy is frequently used , where they can learn everything there is to know about Math, listen to presidential speeches, look up the great depression, the history of art, plants, the human body, people, places, anything. Check it out....

There is no yoga until further notice. We are still doing zentangle on Thursdays.
