“Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to learn”
Our  budget passed at Town Meeting and we want to thank all the parents and townspeople who support our school.

We sent home a note inviting the kids here to play basketball from 6:00 to 8:00.tonight March 8th.  Younger students are invited too, to play board games and then dance. There will be chaperones here and parents can stay or come back to pick their children up at 8:00.

We have some colossal snowbanks here at school since the town crew cleaned out from around the school. The students are having fun sliding, but have needed several reminders not to push each other off of them.

It seems like each day someone cannot find their mittens. Most mittens are either red or black and seem to look alike.  If you can come up with some identifying way for your child to find theirs quicker, that would be a help.  One child has yellow ribbons, another red ones.  Maybe write in them, sew a color onto the wrists. Whatever you come up with will be a big help for us keeping them sorted out.. Thank you.

Next Thursday is Parent Teacher  conferences. If you need to bring your small children with you, Gail will be here to watch them while you have your meeting.

Sally sent home times for parents of  her students to meet with her. If the time doesn't work for you, or if you didn't get the note, please contact her.

Parents: if you want to send extra food that is  non perishable such as canned soups, packaged macaroni and cheese, yogurt sticks, packaged crackers, we can put their names on them. Days when they have forgot their lunch or are really hungry we will have something extra for them.

Mr. PJ has been out sick all week with sinusitis bronchitis.  Wednesday night when he checked in he was going back to the doctor to see if they could give him something that would help more with his coughing. We have also had a nasty stomach bug going around. We will keep you notified as to what illnesses we are dealing with.

Wednesday, March 13th at the Town Library, there will be a FREE soup, salad and bread dinner at 6:00. At seven will be the movie: Picture Perfect.  The  movie should be over by nine. This movie is rated General Audience.   Last movie there were several kids there and they had a good time.

Wednesday, April 3rd, we will be going by bus to visit the Londonderry Rescue Squad. This is a  way to introduce the children to how the rescue squad runs, why and how they can help people, and what the inside of the ambulance looks like.
