Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to learn”

 

Walking and Running Club:  Walking and Running is each Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Parents please join us if you can.

Soccer is each Wednesday after school until 4:30.

Ukulele is only on Thursdays from 3:00 to 3:30 due to Walking and Running.


This Saturday, May 14 at 4:00 PM will be the second Farm Puppet show.  Puppeteers need to be at the school at 3:30. Thursday evening turnout was outstanding. Thank you parents for supporting us in putting together the show.


On Friday, May 20 the Windham ukulele players are invited to open for ukulele musician Ben Carr. Please let Sally know if your child want to participate.


Saturday, May 21 is Open House at the Windham Fire House from 1:00 to 4:00. The new town grader and loader will be there, along with the new fire truck. Come check it out and stay for an ice cream sundae.


The first farmer’s market day at the West Townshend Country Store will be Friday, May 27.There will be a Maypole and raffle (from the cancelled spring festival.) Details will be sent home later.


Windham School Field Day will be Thursday, June 2nd. If it is warm weather do not forget to send an extra set of dry clothing and shoes.


Windham Elementary Spring concert is Monday, June 6 at 6:30. There are no graduates this year. This will also be our all school awards ceremony evening.


School Picnic will be the morning of June 7, our last day of school. We have our lifeguard so we will be all set for swimming. We will send home a food list soon.


Mr. PJ’s class is working with Weston Playhouse every Wednesday and Friday. They are writing the script, building and constructing costumes and background.   They will be the actors and actresses at their production at Weston Playhouse on Saturday, June 4. Students will have to be at the playhouse at 1:45. The performance starts at three.
