Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to learn”

Well, The Farm Show was a huge success. Standing room only. There were many repeat audience watchers because it was so good.   We were lucky to have Gary Zimmerman video the performance on Thursday night and rehearsal on Friday morning. He put the two performances together. In one scene he made a great crashing thundering storm. He is burning cd’s for everyone. We also coerced a graduate student, Alex Beshay, into running the lights. And of course, without Sarah, Cate and Sally working pretty nonstop for a month we would not have had such a tremendous production. Thanks everyone!!!!!

Tonight (May 20) Windham ukulele players are invited to open for ukulele musician Ben Carr. Please let Sally know if your child want to participate. Music begins promptly at 6:30. Please have your children bring their ukuleles and be there around 6:15.

Soccer is each Wednesday after school until 4:30.

Ukulele is only on Thursdays from 3:00 to 3:30 due to Walking and Running.

Saturday, May 21 is Open House at the Windham Fire House from 1:00 to 4:00. The new town grader and loader will be there, along with the new fire truck. Come check it out and stay for an ice cream sundae. See you there.

Children can get pledges per mile or a pledge for participation. They can walk up to 4 miles. Children should bring their pledge money in by Friday, June 3.   They do not have to contribute a lot of money. If each child brings in $3.00 we can buy flocks of chickens for three families in need. Thanks.
