Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to learn”

Wed. May 28: Kathleen Meeks, of Maybelle Farm in Wardsboro, was here Wednesdayto do a wet felting workshop with the children. Kathleen has forty sheep, with a name for each one. Sally's class went first and made wooly soap and wool beads. Ms. Meeks is very talented, leading everyone through the workshop in a clear and concise way. Mr. PJ's class went in at 2:00 to do the same wet felting. What she picked for everyone to learn was a good choice. There was no pass or fail, it was creating out of different color strips of wool something that appealed to their eye.

Monday, June 2nd: Spring concert at 6:30. There will be a puppet show in Sally's classroom before the concert by the first and second graders. Primary concert children can come anytime after 6:00 to show their parents their work. The show will be at 6:15.

Tuesday, June 3: Walk-a-Thon at 1:00. Make sure your children wear spring clothes, sneakers and have a water bottle. Remind your children about pledges.

Wednesday, June 4: Taylor Farm from 10:00 to 1:00Drivers needed. We will leave right after snack and have our lunch there at the picnic tables. Make sure they have plenty to drink, either water or juice. No heat ups. Parents needed to drive.

Thursday, June 5: At 8:45 we will be having a special All School meeting to hand out year end Awards to students. Parents are welcome.

Monday, June 9: Graduation at 6:30.

Tuesday, June 10: Field Day @ 1:00. If it is warm this is a water event. Plan on sending a second set of clothing to change into. The students will only need a snack that day. The Parent Group will be providing lunch.

Wednesday, June 11: Picnic at Hapgood Pond from 10:00 to 1:00Drivers are needed. We will be sending home a sheet about the picnic and what we would like each parent to contribute.
