“Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn”

Spring ConcertMonday, May 18 at 6:30.

No school May 25th.  Memorial Day.

Graduation is June 10. Last day of school is Thursday, June 11.

Performance date for Weston Playhouse performance is Saturday, May 30th between ten and one. As it gets closer they will narrow the time down for us.

Sally and Mr. PJ send a huge thank you to the parents who helped clean the yard last Sunday. We now have a whole picnic table thanks to John Pozzi and the old unsafe one was cleaned up and hauled away by Perry Ryan. Lisa Beshay and family showed up with the materials to make our sand digger safe to use again. Mr. PJ, family and others fixed up the sandbox, helped get the garden ready and just generally helped pick up the playground.  Our raised beds have been mended and we’re beginning to plant the garden.

Fourth graders are doing NECAPS this week. After these tests both Kindergarten through sixth grade will take the MAP tests.

Walking and Running Club started WednesdayNext Wednesday Sally has a prior commitment right after school, but some of the parents have volunteered to do Walking and Running in her place.  The walkathon will be Tuesday, June 9 after lunch.

Perry Ryan and Drew Dryden started spring soccer Thursday. Practice is right after school until 4:30.  Perry said everyone in the school is welcome to play. When he gets the games lined up, the bigger kids can be the helpers.

Mr. PJ’s class started Starbase on Wednesday. Starbase is each Wednesday, ending on Wednesday, June 3rd.

The weekly morning trips to Meadows Bee Farm are continuing for Sally’s class. If your child is not involved in the young farmer program, but would like to be, let us know and we’ll send home a permission slip.

Have a nice weekend.  Enjoy
