Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn”

No school next week.   See everyone on Monday, the 27th.

Parents the kids need to bring hats, gloves and snow pants. When they leave their warm home they are not ready for how cold it is when they are out playing recess. Thank you.

Thank you to the Windham Community Organization for their donation of a ham, cider and salad with all the veggies to add to it.   We served them a lunch of hot ham with scalloped potatoes baked by Imme Maurath.  For the gluten free kids there was mashed potatoes from our school garden.Thursday was ham sandwiches and pickles. Our PE teacher had brought in purple carrots for the kids and they tried those this weeks and were all smiles when they discovered their fingers were purple.

Perfect outside recess time this week.   Grass was dry, no snow, no mud and the kids played all over the back field.  Well, that is until it snowed and by 8:30 that morning they already had one snow man and three other giant snowballs. Now, Friday, they are left with only two huge snowballs out back.

Our Winter Concert will be on Monday, December 11th at 6:30.

Everyone enjoy the holiday.
