Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn, Safe

Next Tuesday (our last day of school before the holiday) we will be serving a turkey lunch for the students; Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, winter squash, cranberry sauce, rolls and butter, apple sauce. We will have a dessert made from actual pie pumpkins that Sally’s class will be making. Thank you parents for your contributions.  They should come home stuffed.

We will be heading down to the pottery studio again on Monday. They will be glazing what they created last Monday.

Kate Ullmann, our music teacher writes: “I'm very happy to announce that Lillie and Mary (and Alex) were accepted into the OAKE national youth honor choir (in the case of Alex, the high school chamber choir)!  I am so proud of them - they really worked hard to accomplish this.  They are very good learners as well as terrific young musicians with great ears and musical ability.  They will travel to Philadelphia in March after working to learn the music in the coming months.  Congratulations!

Thank you for coming to Open House on Thursday. The students were all proud to show off their work and how talented they are.  They do love the chance to show off what they have created, completed and are working on.

Sally’s class will go to the farm on Tuesday, as usual, next week. The kids on first bus will be dropped off there instead of at the school, so they need to be sure they have their rubber boots at home.

We still are trying for more soccer equipment. Only $127 to go. Mr. PJ has another request in to donorschoose.org.  If you or someone you know would like to make a contribution it would be much appreciated. Just go to the website.

Winter concert on Monday December 12 at 6:30.

Parents: We are having our annual craft afternoon on the 21st of December.  Anyone have a craft they would like to come and do with the kids???

Still a reminder that tick season has not ended. We have a lot of kids playing on the edge of the deep grass every day.  So please check your kids every night if they have been outside playing at all.
