On Monday, November 7, we will be taking a field trip to the Brattleboro Museum. It is very important that the kids bring no heat ups.  We will be eating our lunch at the Museum.

Friday, November 11, is a school holiday for Veterans Day.

Open House will be Thursday, November 17th from 6:30 to 7:30.

Sally’s farm kids had a cold morning at the farm on Tuesday. They were very chilly when they arrived back. Beautiful frosty morning to go for a walk in the woods. The kind of morning if you stop walking and are quiet you can listen to the last of the summer’s leaves falling. The stillness before the storms of winter.

Lisa and Brenda Coolbeth are topping off each Tuesday lunch with apple crisp, which is a great enticer for kids to finish what they have on their plates.

Mr. PJ’s class are continuing to learn about electricity and are starting on the Civil War.

Sally’s class are studying trees. I seriously suggest you check out what they have drawn and written about when you are here for Open House. There are some excellent posters in there. Many days they have gone outside to double check whether their drawings are correct.

Since we were all surprised by the snow day, I am sending everyone a hard copy and it has a calendar of the school year on the back.

Winter concert on Monday December 12 at 6:30.
