December 18, 2020 Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn” Happy Holiday’s and a Happy New Year! SNOW! APPRECIATION THANK YOU Thank you to Leland & Gray High School for placing this beautiful appreciation sign at our school! We are all in this together and it is nice to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that each school is putting into make this school year as successful it can be for our students! OUTDOOR ADVENTURE This week for outdoor adventure, Ms. Sally and Mr. B took the students for a hike on and around Mr. B’s property. A very wet, but beautiful snow was falling that day and had a great time exploring and learning how to identify trees and plants now that the winter weather has arrived. Covid Protocols During Holiday Break As of December 15th, here was the latest update: ESSENTIAL TRAVEL PURPOSES ONLY: * Work * Personal safety * Medical care * Care of others (that includes ONLY the person providing the care-NOT other family members) * Parental shared custody * For food/beverage or medicine * To attend school if commuting * To perform work for businesses that are currently allowed to operate when necessary. Upcoming December Dates December 23 - Early Release - Remote Learning Day - Students will not be coming home with homework to complete for this early release day. They have worked very hard these last three months and our gift to them is to enjoy the long holiday break and come back in the New Year to begin where we left off!
