Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn”

Report Cards

Tuesday, Ms. Sara and Mr. PJ worked on your students' report cards and they are going home with your child today. You may keep the report cards, but please sign and date the envelope and return it to school and we will reuse the envelope again in the spring for final report cards. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your student’s report card.

The next NON-Stratton JISP day is THIS Wednesday, Feb 2nd. Those that signed up for swimming for that day, Ms. Sara will send a reminder email and will check in with the drivers to confirm we are set with transportation.

Snowshoe Hike

Both classes enjoyed a beautiful outdoor snowshoe hike lead by Ms. Sally and Ms. Ullman. After a bitter cold morning, we were able to enjoy the bluebird skies and the warm sun as we made paths that will eventually be for our first cross country skiing adventure on Tuesday!

Valentine’s Day Treats

The students have been asking if they can bring in Valentine’s for their classmates this school year. Unfortunately since the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is still very prevalent, we will have to ask that students NOT bring Valentine cards or candy to give to other students from home. We will still participate in our appreciation week leading up to Valentine’s Day here at school. During the week of Valentine’s Day, the students pick a name of another student each morning and by the end of the day an appreciation card is constructed to be given to the student they chose. The appreciation cards are a way to show thanks and appreciation for a kind gesture, words or friendship that they have shared with one another during the school year so far.
