Snowshoe Hike

Thank you to Mr. B for the wonderful snowshoe hike on Monday to the stone bridge and for the popcorn and the amazing hot chocolate he shared with all of us afterwards.

JISP - Feburary 5th

There will be no JISP program through the school on Wednesday, Feb 5th due to the Stratton Mountain Demo Day. Parents if you still want to independently take your children to the mountain on this day you are free to come and pick them up at 11:30 AM. TENTATIVELY, due to weather conditions and chaperone availability, we would like to take the remaining students to Wild Wings on this day. We would plan on leaving the school at noon and ski until 2:30 PM. Please see email sent Thursday, January 30th by Sara for more information.

100th Day Celebration - February 7th
The hundredth day in the younger classroom is always an interesting day to observe. We all look forward to seeing the wide-range of 100 item collections that the students bring in to share. Macaroni, buttons, match box cars, soldiers, or dolls have been favorites in the past. Sally will be in touch with the younger student families with more instruction on the exaxt 100-day project by Monday. They will also participate in math activities, placing items into groups, counting and admiring the types of hundreds they come up with.

Breakfast items

Thank you for those that have helped to keep our fridge stocked! Here is what we are looking at needing to keep our shelves stocked (pancake mix, juice, mini-bagels, yogurt, & frozen sausage links or bacon, frozen berries for smoothies).

Toys
We have been having an influx of toys being brought to school. The younger students should only be bringing in “toy” items on their share days. That item only comes out at share time and then is asked to be put back in their backpacks to be brought home. Please assist us in making sure your students are not bringing in stuffed animals, legos, toys etc to school if it is not their share day.
