Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn”

This school year certainly has been one that we are all happy to see leave, but also one to celebrate. Our Windham students came to school prepared and ready to learn back in September and they never once complained or questioned the rules that we had in place to keep us all safe from COVID. We took each day as it came and through it all, we were able to make some amazing memories during these last 168 masked school days. As our Windham Field Day T-shirts stated this year, each one of our WES students are All-Stars for showing determination and perseverance throughout the 2020-2021 school year. Congratulations to all our students and their families for a fabulous year! We are Windham Strong!

Hapgood Pond THIS Monday

From the RSVP’s we received please plan for approximately 30 at our end of the year picnic.

Students can arrive at school at their normal time and Mickey and I will do one final gathering as a group in the school before we all depart to Hapgood Pond at 9 AM.

Families are more than welcome to depart at 9 AM with us. Before departing WES, Sara will take down all license plates of the cars entering Hapgood so that she can pay for parking for everyone upon arrival.

The lifeguard we have hired will be on duty from 10-12.

We will plan on having a buffet style lunch and at noon will have a final good-bye ceremony for each of our kiddos, before school staff says good-bye for the summer.

Families are more than welcome to stay longer if they choose to, or they can leave as well at that time.
