Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn”

The first day of sticky wet snow on Tuesday, November 19th, allowed the students to build forts & snow people at Windham Elementary School!

Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports Program

As part of our Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports program (PBIS), the students earn beads for showing one of our four main principles in action throughout the day.  The four guiding ideas are being safe, respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. Once the students reach a milestone number of beads as a class, they are then rewarded with a special activity. The K-3rd grade students chose to swim today for their reward. The 5th & 6th grade students chose a pizza, pajama and movie experience which they enjoyed while the younger students were at the pool.

A reminder that JISP sign-ups are due TODAY, November 29th for students, drivers, and chaperones. The link to sign up is or
