October 29, 2021 Habits of Mind: “Safe, Responsible, Respectful, Ready to Learn” Happy Halloween!
The Windham Volunteer fire department will be holding a Trunk or Treat event TONIGHT from 5-7 PM! West Townshend Country Store will be hosting a Haunted Harvest Fest from 4-7 PM. Veterans Memorial Plaque Dedication - Letter from Susan Persa Dear School Families, Our town has been working on a special plaque and monument for the honored veterans of our town. We have researched their names back through WWI. It is now in place in front of the meeting house. We would like to have a patriotic dedication for it on Sunday, November 14th at 2:00 pm. Sally Newton has agreed to teach the children, “My Country, Tis of Thee” and perhaps “This Land is Your Land” to sing during the program. We would be so happy if you would consider committing to bring your children to the meeting house that afternoon to participate. Please contact me, Susan Persa, to let me know if you could come to participate in this program. Please let me know by Friday, November 5th so we can plan accordingly. I think this will be a memorable day for our town. If you have any special questions, please call me at 874-4054. Sincerely, Susan L. Persa
